We prepare for the new
Reflect on the hold
Ponder the future
Each January we step into the future
Struggle to write the new year on papers and checks
We think about the year
Past
And compare now to what has come before
What if we just lived in the today
And not thought about the 2014 past
Or the 2015 to come?
